VIGIL™ takes a caretaker from zero to CPD-certified in five steps. Every step is logged, time-stamped, and linked to their learner profile and the specific building they manage.

    Filmed on your panel, by a qualified engineer

    Short instructional video filmed on the client's specific fire alarm panel, with a qualified engineer demonstrating every procedure. Caretakers see their exact equipment, in their exact building. Not a simulation. Not a generic model. The real thing.

    Learn

    An illustrated guide behind every video

    An illustrated step-by-step guide follows each video. Plain language. Clear diagrams for every key procedure. Designed to be accessible to staff of all literacy levels. Available in English, Spanish and Romanian.

    Check

    Assessed before anything is issued

    Each module draws 5 questions at random from a bank of 15. An 80% pass threshold (4 of 5 correct) is required before a certificate is issued. Learners who don't pass may retake the assessment.

    Certify

    A certificate with a reference number, issued instantly

    On passing, an auto-issued CPD-accredited completion certificate is generated instantly, showing the learner's name, module coverage, date of completion, and a unique reference number. CPD status shows as CPD-pending on issue and updates once accreditation is confirmed.

    Report

    A live record, building by building

    The manager dashboard shows every learner, every completion, every outstanding module, and every upcoming renewal date in real time — building the Golden Thread record required under Building Safety Act 2022 s.89.
